Bisque socket head, very deep amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, painted lush lashes, thick black eye liner encircles the eye cuts, brush-stroked brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with defined space between the outlined lips, pierced ears, antique brunette human hair wig in elaborate braid captured in woven snood, French composition and wooden fully-jointed lady body with shapely bosom and waist. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Depose Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 10 (and artist checkmarks, head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1888. Value Points: with superb quality of bisque and painting, fine luminous complexion, original elaborate wig, pate, original lady body with original finish, the bebe is wearing her original Spanish costume of red satin with black lace overlay, black velvet jacket with gold metallic trim, black velvet cap, undergarments including corset, stockings, Jumeau leather shoes, and is preserved in her original wooden box in flawless pristine condition.
