Description
18" (46 cm.) Dark blonde hair with bangs and shoulder-length curls. Wearing tagged "bouffant gown of heavy white satin caught up in a graceful drapery with bright pink roses (and) full-length opera coat of Goya pink taffeta, lined and fastened at the throat with a dashing big bow," as described in 1954 Alexander catalog, along with rosebud coronet, pink satin reticule bag, taffeta hooped petticoat, panties, stockings, purple suede-like snap-front shoes. Near mint, slight fading of roses on coronet. Alexander, model 2030B, the doll was presented as "Cherie dressed for the opera" from the "Me and My Shadow" series, 1954.
