12" (30 cm.) l. The wooden Saratoga trunk has impressed designs on burgundy cover along with green and gilt trim, and hinges open to a paper fitted base interior and with an upper compartment having green paper cover with engraving of children and Mother eagerly greeting the returning Papa. Very good condition, rare shape and decorations. Inside the trunk are various silk ribbons, American Mid-1800s.
