Description
The firm-sided brown leather sac du voyage has two compartments, the upper compartment with folded sides and hinged top with metal clasp; and the lower box-shaped unit with silver metal clasp and blue paper lining, containing original tiny bone sewing utensils including thimble, needle holder, and awl, and with tiny scissors. Along with a tiny leather bound book gilt lettered "Witty Humorous and Merry Thoughts" published by Frederick Stoves. 1 3/4"l. Circa 1870.
