11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, two porcelain upper teeth, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A made in Germany 4. Comments: Kestner, their 143 model, circa 1910. Value Points: great expression with wonderful complexion and painting, original wig, pate, body, body finish.
