7.5" (19 cm.) Posed upon a rounded plinth which is attached to a scalloped-edge base is an elegantly-posed ballerina, her arms extended, with sculpted ballerina costume having gilt edged neckline, skirt edging and shoes. Marks: NP Neu Tettau. Generally excellent, tips of two fingers flaked. Germany, Neu Porzellan Tettau, circa 1925, the firm specialized in fine white porcelain decorated only with rich gold leaf.
