Description
25" (64 cm.) Each is of wool felt with pressed and painted facial features, the count with attached felt eyelids and the chef with red felt lips, wool plush hair, each with hollow torso for puppet use, felt arms and legs. Excellent condition. Else Hecht, Munich, 1930s. Depicting a Marquis in long waist coat and vest, with lace jabot and white periwig; Housekeeper with coiffe and flowered cotton dress; and Chef with uniform and chef's hat.
