17" x 12" (43 x 30 cm). Heavy board box hinges open to reveal a French school room of the 1920 era with maps, blackboards and lithographs on the walls, four wooden double-desks with benches, teacher's desk with globe, six painted bisque dolls in original school uniforms, and teacher nun in original costume. On the interior lid of the box are various teaching materials and student notebooks. Excellent condition. Circa 1920,French.
