16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted facial features, heavy upper eyelids with thick black upper eyeliner, painted blue eyes, one stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full lips, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: one piece break and reglue at low back neck socket with over-paint, otherwise excellent and fine unplayed with condition. Marks: K*R 101. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910, "Marie" from their art character series. Value Points: beautiful modeling and bisque, original mohair wig with long braids, original body and body finish, and wearing original Swiss folklore costume including cap and shoes with Geneva doll shop label.
