16" (41 cm.) Of lush curly pale-golden mohair, swivel head with elongated shaved snout, open mouth with felt lining, brown embroidered nose tip, amber glass eyes, stitched ears, short arms and hip-jointed legs, felt paw pads, free-standing, studded leather collar, brass bell. With original Steiff metal button in ear with underscored F and remnants of original red cloth tag indicating pre-1934 production. Excellent condition. Germany, Steiff, the bear was marketed as "Teddy Baby", circa 1930, and is very rare to find.
