Description
6 1/2"w piano (16 cm). A tin lithographed upright piano is decorated with sheet music, and amusing illustrations, labeled "The Dogpatch 4", with Daisy Mae seated on chair at front, Papa Yokum seated at side with drum, pipe-smoking Mama Yokum at top of piano with baton, and L'il Abner leading the band. When wound, the various figures dance and move about in an amusing manner. Marked "Unique Art Manufacturing Co, Pioneer Toy Makers since 1916,Copyright 1945 by United Features Syndicate...". Excellent condition, circa 1945. Included is original (worn) box with colorful illustrations.
