9 1/2" (24 cm.) Bisque swivel head with very full plump cheeks,on kid-edged bisque shoulder
plate with modeled bosom and shoulder blades,amber brown glass paperweight inset
eyes,feathered brows,outlined eye sockets,painted lashes,accented nostrils,closed mouth with
accented lips,pierced ears,auburn mohair wig over cork pate,French kid bebe body with
gusset-jointing at hips and knees,kid-over-wooden upper arms,bisque forearms,finely-
costume in the original Bru manner with antique fabrics,undergarments,socks,antique leather
shoes and woven bonnet with maroon silk bows. Condition: generally excellent,bisque arms
may be German bisque of the era. Marks: Bru Jne (and circle/dot imprint,on head) Bru Jne No.
0 shoulderplate. Comments: Leon Casimir Bru,circa 1880. Transitional model between the
circle dot bebe which this closely resembles and the classic Bru Jne model with as this is
marked. Value Points: charming bebe in very rare size,with sturdy body,dainty features.
