18" (46 cm.) Sophisticated braided silk and cotton auburn upswept hairstyle. Wearing tagged blue satin ensemble representing a turn of the century gown with ruffled skirt detail and floral garland accent on gown's bodice, taffeta slip, panties, early net hose with gold foil shoes, and rare pink feather fan attached to wrist by blue satin ribbon. Near mint condition. Alexander, model 6018, 1951, with original box and original cloverleaf hang tag, from the "Fashion of a Century" series, created for the Mid-Century Exposition of 1950, an exceptionally rare example that is perfectly-preserved, with exceptional high cheek color on the beautiful porcelain facial finish.
