6" (15 cm.) Each has carved wooden head with defined facial details to enhance the characterization such as carved wrinkles on aged couple, and with painted details of various coiffures such as floral-encircled chignon on bride, cloth body, wooden lower arms. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Chinese Door of Hope Mission, circa 1920s, included are Bride, Amah, child with floral trimmed hair, student, priest, and aged woman. Value Points: well-preserved collection, each wearing its original mission costume.
