Description
2 1/2" (6 cm.) Each is all-bisque with swivel head, painted features, blue eyes, closed mouth, pin-jointing at shoulders and hips, painted boots and stockings. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, the dolls were marketed as "Lilliputians", first appearing in French Etrennes catalogs during the 1890s. Value Points: petite mignonettes wear factory original school-children costumes, and are posed with an antique tinplate pony carriage with two large spoked wheels and leather sunshade.
