Playing make-believe is the oldest game of childhood. Those who wonder about the why of collecting yesterday's childhood objects overlook make-believe. Playing dolls – or collecting them – transports a person from the box of how things are, into a world of boundless possibilities. The rarest of the rare antique dolls are featured in this book where the world of make-believe mixes with the veritable life journey of the doll itself. 8.5" x 11". Softbound. 130 full-color pages.
